Full PrizeRebel Review

PrizeRebel was founded in 2007, making it one of the older survey websites.

And with over 10 million members, PrizeRebel is one of the largest online survey and rewards programs. They’ve paid out over $21 million in cash and gift card rewards since 2007.

PrizeRebel has partnered with top market research companies to provide you with the highest paying survey opportunities. And when you get tired of taking surveys, you can head over to their OfferWall, where you can complete hundreds of different offers to earn points.

PrizeRebel has one of the fastest payout speeds of any survey and rewards site that I’ve seen. It’s not uncommon for you to receive your payout within 15 minutes, especially once you’ve reached the Silver Account level (more on Account levels later in this review).

PrizeRebel has the largest number of payout methods available. When you earn enough points to redeem (as low as 200 points), you can choose from hundreds of gift cards, including Amazon, eBay, Walmart, Starbucks, Target, and many more.

If you don’t want a gift card and would prefer cash, not a problem. PrizeRebel offers direct deposits to your bank as well as PayPal deposits.

PrizeRebel has a lot to offer and is certainly a fantastic way to make money from home if you need extra cash.

Sign up takes less than 30 seconds, and you can begin earning money immediately.

PrizeRebel is best for you if

  • You have extra time to complete surveys and offers — PrizeRebel has a variety of offers and surveys that you can complete to earn points that can be redeemed for cash and gift cards.
  • You spend a lot of time commuting and waiting — If you live in a busy city and have long commutes on the subway, taxi, or bus, PrizeRebel is perfect for you. You could be using your commute time to earn additional income for yourself. It’s a better use of your time than surfing social media.
  • You want to earn additional income on top of your job — Using PrizeRebel consistently can give you some nice additional side income that you can use toward groceries, bills, and other things.

Ways to earn with PrizeRebel

Although there are other ways you can make money with PrizeRebel, here are some of the main ways.

  • Surveys — The primary way to make money with PrizeRebel is to answer survey questions. Surveys are updated daily, so there’s no reason you can’t earn a decent amount of points every day to redeem for cash and gift cards. Points are typically credited to your account within 30 minutes of completing the survey.
  • OfferWalls — OfferWalls allows you to earn points by completing various activities like downloading and trying apps, signing up for newsletters, clicking onto websites, and buying stuff. Offers can be filtered by category. For example, if you only want to see the free offers, you can filter by No Cost, and PrizeRebel will only show you offers that won’t require you to use a credit card.
  • Videos — Get paid for watching videos and being entertained. Discover content creators and browse through several categories, including food, music, celebrity, viral, gaming, tech, and more. You watch videos daily anyway, you might as well earn points for it.

PrizeRebel alternatives

There are several alternatives to PrizeRebel. Many of these similar services can be used to compliment PrizeRebel instead of replacing it completely.

For example, Swagbucks doesn’t have to replace PrizeRebel, it can be used to find even more surveys and money-making opportunities on top of what PrizeRebel has to offer.

Here are all of the PrizeRebel alternatives:

PrizeRebel top features

Here are PrizeRebel’s top features that help it stand out in the crowd of online survey and rewards sites.

Referral program

prizerebel referral code

Invite your friends, family, classmates, and colleagues to join PrizeRebel and earn up to 30% of all the points your referrals earn.

When you create your PrizeRebel account, you’ll also receive a unique referral link that you can post on your social media accounts, emails, and other places.

To find this link, click on the Invite option on the main menu of the PrizeRebel website. If you are logged into your PrizeRebel account, you should see a page that includes your unique referral link and referral stats.

You can also find tools to increase your referrals such as banners to use on sites and forums, and dynamic pages—both of which include your unique referral link.

Account levels

Account levels are statuses that you can reach as you earn points on PrizeRebel.

When you first create your PrizeRebel account, you are by default on the Bronze level. The only benefit that the Bronze level offers is a 15% referral bonus.

However, the more you “level up” your account, the more benefits you’ll receive. For example, the highest account level is Diamond. When you reach Diamond status, you’ll earn 30% referral bonuses, automatic prize processing, 3% special bonus, and 3% discount on all gift cards.

To level up your account, you’ll have to earn a set number of points. Once you’ve earned that set number of points, your account will level up automatically.

For example, after the Bronze level comes Silver. To gain Silver status on your account, you’ll have to earn 1000 points total. Once you’ve reached a new account level, you’ll begin enjoying the benefits of that level.

There are five account levels in total. Here’s a table to help you see the benefits and requirements of each account level.

Raffles

prizerebel raffles

Raffles are a fun way to test your luck and win additional prizes, including gift cards, electronics, and points toward your PrizeRebel account.

You can enter a raffle by purchasing raffle tickets. Every raffle ticket you buy is equal to 1 entry. There is no limit to how many tickets you can purchase. The more tickets you buy, the greater the odds of winning.

Every raffle ticket costs 10 points. This means if you buy 10 raffle tickets, you’ll have to pay 100 points, but you’ll have 10 entries.

Lucky Numbers

prizerebel lucky numbers jackpot

Lucky Numbers is a feature on PrizeRebel that lets you gamble your points. When you purchase tickets to play Lucky Numbers, you are playing to win the jackpot.

The jackpot is typically a large number of points, such as 5,000 points.

You start by selecting how many tickets you want to buy. You are limited to 50 tickets per week.

You then pick 4 numbers between 1–17 for each ticket you purchased. If you purchased 1 ticket, you have 4 picks. If you purchase 10 tickets, you have 40 picks. You get the idea.

At the end of every week, the 4 Lucky Numbers are randomly selected. To win the jackpot, you have to watch all 4 numbers on one of your tickets. The more tickets you buy, the higher your odds of winning.

If there is more than one jackpot winner, the jackpot will be split evenly between all the winners. If there are no winners for the week, the jackpot is rolled over to the next drawing and will continue increasing.

Contests

prizerebel contests

PrizeRebel has several contests that they actively host. These contests include:

  • Offer Wall Contest — Complete the most offers from the offer walls
  • US Only Surveys Contest — Complete and earn the most points from surveys (US members only)
  • International Surveys Contest — Complete and earn the most points from surveys
  • Referral Contest — Get rewarded for being a top referrer

Each of these contests offers a prize amount for contestants who get between 1st and 10th place. 1st place winners of all of these contests win 1,000 points, 2nd place wins 900 points, and so on.

There’s nothing you have to do to join any of these contests. By simply using PrizeRebel, you can qualify for any of these contests and win the prize amounts.

Prize claim testimonials

You can earn 50 points when you submit a picture testimonial and 200 points when you submitted a video testimonial.

You must have at least one successful prize claim to submit a picture or video testimonial for points.

All testimonials are approved manually from PrizeRebel, so be sure to give your testimonial a little effort.

On top of the prize claim testimonials, you can also submit a testimonial if you won a raffle or giveaway. PrizeRebel will credit 50 points to your account for these testimonials.

How you get paid

PrizeRebel offers several great ways to redeem your points, including PayPal, gift cards, and online game codes.

PrizeRebel also has one of the lowest payout thresholds of any other rewards and survey site that I’ve seen. You can redeem gift cards for as little as 200 points (equal to $2).

Here are all the ways you can redeem your PrizeRebel points.

Direct bank deposit

PrizeRebel has partnered with Dwolla to give you the option to redeem your points for cash via direct deposit to your bank account.

If you choose to redeem your points for a direct deposit, the request is usually processed within 24 hours. You should see the money hit your account in 1–3 business days.

PayPal

Besides direct deposits to your bank, PayPal is the easiest way to redeem your PrizeRebel points for cash.

To redeem your points with PayPal, you need a minimum of 500 points. 500 PrizeRebel points will earn you a $5 PayPal cash deposit. You can also choose a custom PayPal amount if you have an odd number of points, such as 886 points, which will redeem you $8.86.

You’ll need to be sure you have your PayPal email setup with your PrizeRebel account, otherwise, you could run into some issues getting paid.

Gift cards

prizerebel gift cards

PrizeRebel offers a wide selection of gift cards at popular retailers like Amazon, Target, Starbucks, Walmart, and many more.

You can redeem your PrizeRebel points for either digital or physical gift cards. This can be especially great if you want to give a physical gift card to a friend or family member.

Many gift cards can be redeemed for as little as 200 points, equivalent to a $2 gift card.

Online game codes

prizerebel game codes

If you’re a gamer, you might really like this payout option.

PrizeRebel allows you to redeem your points for game codes to popular online games, including Fortnite, Roblox, League of Legends, and World of Warcraft.

You can even redeem for PlayStation Store and Xbox Live gift cards.

Start earning points

Now that you’ve successfully registered your PrizeRebel account, it’s time to start earning points and making money.

As discussed earlier in this review, there are three primary ways to earn points on PrizeRebel—surveys, OfferWalls, and videos.

The best way to earn points on PrizeRebel is by taking surveys.

Surveys are a set of questions that you answer to help improve real-world products and services. They’re often designed by market researchers who are looking for feedback from real people, like yourself.

By taking surveys and sharing your opinion on PrizeRebel, you’re able to help real companies improve their products and services that could impact millions of people. And of course, you’re being paid for it.

To begin taking surveys on PrizeRebel, you’ll have to complete your profile questionnaire. This questionnaire is just a set of questions about who you are.

prizerebel profile questionnaire to take surveys

You’ll need to answer truthfully about your education level, employment status, income, and other personal information.

Keep in mind that PrizeRebel never sells or shares your information. The information is only used to match you with qualified surveys.

Another way you can earn points on PrizeRebel is with OfferWalls. OfferWalls is exactly what it sounds like—a wall of offers. PrizeRebel has partnered with various services and product providers to bring you the best offers that you can earn points on.

When earning points with OfferWalls, here are a few pro tips to remember:

  • Turn off your adblocker to view all the offers. Otherwise, you may miss opportunities.
  • Make sure your browser is set to accept cookies (most browsers are by default). Otherwise, you won’t earn your points for offers.
  • Complete offers truthfully and completely, otherwise you may be disqualified from the offer.

There are several different categories of offers that you can complete to earn points. You can filter between these categories while on the OfferWalls page.

The categories include no cost offers, app install offers, info submit offers, purchase offers, and donation offers.

Each of these categories will display offers to you that are relevant to the category. For example, the app install category will display offers that require you to install an app to receive your PrizeRebel points.

You can filter through these categories to find offers that make sense for you to complete. In other words, it wouldn’t make sense for you to complete a paid offer that requires you to purchase a new JanSport backpack if you don’t need a new backpack.

However, maybe you’ve been looking for a new backpack, and you see that you can purchase one and earn points for doing so—great! Now you can be rewarded for something you were going to do regardless.

I’m saying that it wouldn’t be smart to complete offers for things you don’t need. This is counterintuitive and will only make you lose money instead of making more of it.

There are plenty of other offers that don’t require you to spend money to earn PrizeRebel points.

The final way to earn points on PrizeRebel is by watching videos.

Here are a few tips to make sure you get the most points while watching videos on PrizeRebel:

  • Don’t use VPNs or proxies while watching videos, turn them off.
  • Turn off your adblocker. Otherwise, you won’t receive points.
  • Make sure your screen is large enough to see the ads that play before each video.

New videos are added frequently, so check back often.

Although there are several other ways for you to make money with PrizeRebel, these are the primary ways.

If you want to learn more about ways to earn with PrizeRebel, go to the PrizeRebel top features section of this review, where I go into detail about more ways to earn points.

Is PrizeRebel worth it?

Yes, PrizeRebel is worth it.

I’ll be the first to say that PrizeRebel won’t necessarily make you rich. That goes for any survey and rewards website.

However, it’s definitely possible to earn extra income while working from home taking surveys with PrizeRebel.

If you have extra free time and don’t mind using it to take surveys, complete offers, and watch videos, you can absolutely make money.

Sign up should take you less than 30 seconds, and getting started is easy.
